Anna Mae Spinks Paxton, 71, of 309 Pennsylvania Avenue, Covington, Virginia died Friday, July 5, 2019 at her home.

Mrs. Paxton was born September 27, 1947 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Paxton, Sr. in 2018.

She was retired from the former Halmode, Inc. plant in Covington.

Surviving are two sons, Bruce Paxton, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Covington and Eric Paxton and his wife, Suzanna, of Millboro; three grandchildren, Matthew Paxton and his wife, Tori of Covington, Hayden Paxton and Macey Paxton, both of Millboro; three great grandchildren, Kyndle, Kellen and Kolbie; one sister, Geraldine Ingram of Jacksonville, FL. and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Clifton Forge with the Rev. Donnie Brown officiating.
