Blanche Clark Madison, age 84, of 3157 River Road, Millboro, Virginia died Friday, July 12, 2019 at the residence of her son.

She was born May 25, 1935 in McClung, Virginia to the late Grady and Genieveve Brinkley Clark.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Lewis Madison; two brothers, Edward and Wilson Clark.

She is survived by two daughters, Patty Madison of Clifton Forge and Vivian Matheney (Delano Jack Jr.) of Millboro; two sons, Danny Madison (Sharon) and Billy Madison (Stephanie), both of Millboro; a sister, Wilma Shuey of Verona; three brothers, Paul Clark (Nancy) of Millboro, Phillip Fleming (Glenda) of Augusta Springs, and George Fleming of Greenville, VA; nine grandchildren, Curtis Howard, Sr. (Lisa), Jay Howard, Zach Madison (Priscilla), Jared Madison (Robin), D. J Jack (Katheryn), Damon Madison, Brandon Matheney (Samantha), Chloe Potter, Madison Burke; six great grandchildren, Abby Matheney, C. J. Howard, Jr., Dylan Howard, Robert Howard, Evelyn Howard, Willow Madison; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Millboro Christian Church with Pastor Lloyd Via officiating. A private inurnment will follow. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Millboro Christian Church.
