Mrs. Pauline Holestin Sparks, age 86, of Covington, Virginia died Friday, July 12, 2019 at her residence.

She was the wife of the late Paul Martin Sparks.

Mrs. Sparks was born August 10, 1932 in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Lena Florence Gundee Holestin. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Sparks is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Williams Hunt; four grandchildren, James D. Williams Sr and wife, Katie, Lisa Williams-Broughaman and husband, Billy, Laura Williams and Lena Williams; fifteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and two brothers, Gomer Holestin and Richard Holestin.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sparks was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers, Howard "Bucky" Holestin and Raymond "Manny" Holestin; and a sister, Virginia "Jenny" Holestin.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in Fletchers Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
