Donna Spence Floyd, 70, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019.

Born Feb. 6, 1949 in Lexington, she was the daughter of Harry Spence and Ileta Goolsby Spence.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Brown and Patsy Staton; and three brothers, Jerry Spence, Eugene Spence and Delmas Spence.

Donna retired from Stonewall Jackson Hospital as a registered nurse.

Surviving are her husband, Larry Floyd; four children, Chris Floyd (Missy), Amy Gillette (David), Angie Coleman (Greg) and Scotty Floyd; seven grandchildren, Stephen Smithgall, Andrew Floyd, Spencer, Aaron, and Adam Gillette, Sydney and Rachel Coleman; five sisters, Judy Coleman, Mary Jane Staton, Dorothy Coleman, Edith Staton, and Debbie Clark; and two brothers, Billy Spence and Bobby Spence; brothers-in-law, Garry Floyd and Eddie Floyd; and sister-in-law, Carol Garrett.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Adam Williams and Pastor W. David Bain. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
