Robert (Oink) Jennings Kessler II, 72, of Bacova, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Bath Community Hospital in Hot Springs, Virginia.

He was born November 13, 1946 in St. Albans, West Virginia, the son of the late Robert Jennings Kessler, Sr. and Katherine Helen Frantz Kessler.

He was a loving husband, father, friend, teacher, salesman and coach. He touched and molded so many young lives.

Born in St. Albans, West Virginia, he grew up in Maben, West Virginia. He moved to Oak Hill, West Virginia to graduate. He attended WV Tech, graduated from Salem College and received his MBA from Marshall University.

Robert and family lived in Longwood, Florida for 35 years and then moved to Bath County in 2010.

Living to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Susan Carol Allen Kessler; three children, Katherine Anne Kessler of Bacova, Dr. Kristopher Allen Kessler and wife, Dr. Kylee of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Kenneth Andrew Kessler and wife, Ashley of Hot Springs; a grandchild, Knoah Andrew Kessler of Hot Springs.
