Flossie Ellen Fix, 90, of Lexington, Virginia died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born December 10, 1928 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Elmer Fix Sr. and Beulah Knick Fix.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Elmer Fix Jr. and Fred Hunter Fix; three sisters, Violet Virginia Clark, Helen Eva Bowling and Thelma Beatrice Hall; and special friend, Palmer Bradley.

Mrs. Fix was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was a member of the Lauderdale A. R. Presbyterian Church and retired from Leggett's with 36 years of service. Flossie loved to play golf.

Surviving are her brothers-in-law, Ronald O. Hall and Walter Bowling; sister-in-law Helen Fix; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at New Monmouth Presbyterian Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Benjamin Dowling. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
