Brenda Lou Overton Fridley, 64, of 802 W. Ridgeway Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Friday, August 16, 2019 at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany in Low Moor.

She was born February 13, 1955 in Clifton Forge, a daughter of the late Odie Lee "Buck", Jr. and Peggy Franklin Overton.

She was a member of the Selma Church of the Brethren and a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Linda Sue Miller and a sister-in-law, Elsie Overton.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonya Fridley and fiancee, Jody Malcom of Covington, Tammy Fridley and fiancee, John Ruble of North Carolina; three sons, Daniel Fridley and his wife, Roscoe of Low Moor, Scottie Fridley and his wife, and Brenda's caregiver, Crystal, Darien Fridley and his wife, Kahla, all of Covington; a brother, Larry Overton of Low moor; seventeen grandchildren, Danny, and Bailey Fridley, Roman Windsor, Timothy Fridley, Andrew Windsor, Tyler, and Trevor Fridley, Nicholas Wolfe, S. J. Fridley, Walter Ruble, Jr., Montana and Dicey Ruble, Kyleigh, Xavier, Cayson, Makynlie, and Makynzie Fridley; three great-grandchildren, Aubree, Adleigh and Landon Windsor; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons with Donnie Whitt and Michael Jackson serving as an alternates. Interment will immediately follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington.

Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Nicely Funeral Home.
