On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, Howard Thurman Dudley (Yickie) of Natural Bridge, Virginia passed unexpectedly into the arms of his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell E. Dudley, and his mother, Lucy Virginia Dudley; his brothers, Buford Preston Dudley, Charles William Dudley, Joseph Raymond Dudley, Lowell E. Dudley II; sisters, Laura Hilda Dudley, Elsie M. Wood; and nephew, Jerry Wayne Dudley (Petie).

Surviving are his sister, Roena Kingery Fowler of Buchanan and many nephews and nieces as well as many friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 a,m. Wednesday, August 28 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Tabor officiating. Burial will follow at Rapps Mill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 27 at Harrison Funeral Home.
