Phyllis Ann Loving McCulley, age 83, of 103 Circle H Lane, Clifton Forge, Virginia and formerly of Glen Wilton, died Thursday, August 29, 2019 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was born June 13, 1936 in the Rich Patch area of Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Howard Edward "Peewee" Loving, Jr. and Louise Craft Loving.

She was a homemaker throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Arnold McCulley; a brother, Marvin Loving; and two sisters, Shelby Campbell and Libby Dudley. She is survived by three sons, George E. McCulley of Clifton Forge, Arnold W. McCulley and wife, Katherine of Callaway, and Jerry L. McCulley of Selma; four sisters, Clo Angle of Rich Patch, Covington, Barbara Loving of Lynchburg, Beverly Nicely and husband, Jerry of Cumberland, MD, and Sandy Montgomery and husband, Carl of Lexington; three grandchildren, Jeffrey McCulley, Melissa McCulley, and Heather McCulley; three great grandchildren, Jayson Tyler Wayne McCulley, Kinzy Alexis Ray, and Wyatt Wayne McCulley.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Robert McRae officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Glen Wilton.

Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends attending the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.
