Owner Of C. S. Lews Was Former President Of The West Virginia Automobile Dealers Association

Ralph Emmerson (Buddy) Hanna, Jr., 80, of White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at his residence in White Sulphur Springs.

He was born October 3, 1938 at Ronceverte, a son of the late Ralph Emerson Hanna, Sr. and the late Helen Theda McClung Hanna.

Buddy was owner of C. W. Lewis for 25 years, attended both WVU and Concord College, was of the Presbyterian faith, and was a member of White Sulphur Springs Rotary Club. He was President of the West Virginia Automobile Association, attended Greenbrier Military School and was stationed in Germany while serving in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay Sheppard Hanna; sons, Rand Hanna (Emily) of Aiken, SC, Chris Hanna (Nancy) of White Sulphur Springs, Matthew Hanna of White Sulphur Springs, Paul Hanna (Aimee) of Aiken, SC, Andrew Hanna (Deanna) of Morgantown, Justin Hanna (Marie) of Daleville, VA, and Quinn Hanna (Lauren) of Rockville, MD; two step-children, Ginger Steele Giggenbach (Christian) of Alderson and Scott Steele (Kischa) of Daleville, VA; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and his loving dogs, "Amos, Boss & Tabby".

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs, with Pastor Lowell O'Dell officiating. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
