Retired Respiratory Therapist Dies At Age 55

Bonita Lynn (Bonnie) Saville Simpson, age 55, of 1316 Linden Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

Bonnie was born on August 6, 1964 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to Reginald Edward Brandt "Reggie" Saville and the late Shirley Mae Vess Saville.

She was a retired Respiratory Therapist, and because of her dedication was recognized with the "Outstanding Humanitarian Award". She grew up in the Central Advent Christian Church and loved cooking, baking, and bulldogs.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Saville.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, William S. "Billy" Simpson of Clifton Forge; her father, Reggie Saville of Clifton Forge; a sister, Karen Warlitner and husband, Tim of Clifton Forge; a brother, Brandt Saville and wife, Michelle of Covington; three step daughters, Kim Scott and husband, Brent of Warrenton, Chrissy Carr of Fincastle, and Mandi Wooten and husband, J. J. of Delaplane; six grandchildren, Kara Irvine, Jackson Irvine, Avery Carr, Austin Carr, Cody Wooten and Carson Wooten; and a special niece, Hollee Warlitner.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Mr. Greg Vess officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

Pallbearers will be selected from cousins attending the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
