Patricia C. Tolley, 77, of Lexington, Virginia died Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born December 23, 1941 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Calvin (Cobby) Conner and Hilda Mutispaugh Conner.

Patricia was a member of Lauderdale A. R. Presbyterian Church and attended Fincastle Baptist Church.

She took her nurse's training at Roanoke Memorial Hospital and worked at Sunbeam Bakery to put herself through nursing school. After graduating from nursing school, she worked at Stonewall Jackson Hospital and later for Dr. Kenny and Dr. Busch. Patricia retired from Sigma Nu fraternity headquarters with 30 years of service.

Surviving are her husband, William Lewis "Bill" Tolley; one daughter, Cindy Ann Luck (Rodney); one son, Jerry Tolley (Karen); one sister, Rebecca A. Berry; four grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Travis Tolley, Justin Tolley, Erica Church (Ben), Derek Ruley; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 17 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kevin Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
