Obituary for Earl Clifford (Trucky) Lemon Earl Clifford (Trucky) Lemon
Bath County Native Was Westvaco Retiree

Mr. Earl Clifford (Trucky) Lemon, age 80, of Covington, Virginia died Friday, October 4, 2019 at his residence.

He was the husband of Carole Lemon.

Mr. Lemon was born July 27, 1939 in Bath County, the son of the late Earl Gleason Lemon and Geraldine Harrison Lemon.

A lifetime resident of this community, he was employed as a rewinder operator by Westvaco before his retirement.

Trucky was a member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church.

An avid bowler, Mr. Lemon was a member of the bowling league as well as a member of the Alleghany County and Bath County Bowling Association. He was Rite Worshipful Lemon of Crescent –Wright Lodge #97 AF & AM served as Worshipful Master, District Deputy Grand Master and secretary of the Lodge. Following the merger of J. W. Barnes Lodge #305 AF & AM of Clifton Forge with Lodge #97, he also served as secretary.

In addition to his wife, Carole, Mr. Lemon is survived by a daughter, Ellen Wesby; three stepsons, Ralph "Jr." Hepler, Paul Hepler and Michael Hepler; five grandchildren, Cameron Wesby, Adam Hepler, Taylor Hepler, Ebony Bacon and Danielle Davis; seven great grandchildren, Caleb and Corey Davis, Tytus and Gabby Bacon, Isaiah and Willow Johnson and Lily Hepler; a brother,"Trailer" Lemon; an aunt, Doris Hairston; and a cousin, Gayle Hargreaves.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Gilliland and Rev. Jim Moss officiating. The family will receive their friends form 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church, 900 Alleghany Avenue, Covington, VA 24426.
