Obituary for Karen Brennan Tingler Karen Brennan Tingler
Co-Owner Of Covington Farm & Fuel Was Pennsylvania Native

Karen Brennan Tingler, 62, of 308 Armentrout Road, Covington, Virginia, dearest friend, companion, and always caring wife of J. W. Tingler, Jr., slipped away from this imperfect world and moved on to a much better place, the Promised Land.

She is now free from all the pain, sickness and misery of her cruel debilitating disease. May her blessed soul now rest in the presence of our Maker until we meet again in heaven.

Karen was born July 14, 1957 in Sayre, PA, a daughter of the late Leo and Edith Cubucci Brennan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

She was the co-owner and Vice-President of Covington Farm & Fuel, Inc.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, John Tingler of Covington; two sisters, Delores Silfies of Concord, NH and Kathy Fisk and her husband, Walt of Wylusing, PA; one brother, Joe Brennan and his wife, Elaine of New York and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Noel officiating.

Following the service, the family will receive friends at Arritt Funeral Home.

The family suggests that donations in Karen's name be made to Mountain Regional Hospice, P. O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.

Arrangements are by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
