Obituary for Anne Vinson Anne Vinson
Lexington Resident Was Longtime Rockbridge County Schools Librarian

Anne Vinson, 81, of Lexington, Virginia died Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Kendal in Lexington.

Born July 23, 1938 in Florida, she was a daughter of the late Conrad Gaston Easterday and Marion Ward Easterday.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and had been a librarian with Rockbridge County Schools for many years. Anne played viola in two local orchestras and served in several other community organizations such as RATS.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas O. Vinson; children, Nancyanne Imeson Welsh, Thomas C. Imeson III, Susan L. Harlan, Thomas O. Vinson III, and L. Stanford Vinson; sister, Allison E. Rose; brother, C. Martin Easterday, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19 at Grace Episcopal Church by Father James Hubbard.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rockbridgeschoolfoundation@gmail.com in honor of Mrs. Vinson's many years as a school librarian.
