Covington Native Dies In Ohio

Mrs. Thelma Marie Hostetter Wilkosz passed away October 6, 2019 in her home in Broadview Heights, OH.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Marion Wilkosz.

Mrs. Wilkosz was born October 24, 1929 in Covington to the late Arnold Hostetter, Sr. and Phoebe Knick Hostetter.

She was a graduate of Covington High School and received her registered nursing degree from Stuart Circle Hospital in 1950.

Thelma met her husband while he attended the University of Richmond. They were married on February 14, 1953 and moved to the Cleveland, OH area where they raised four children, Michael (Sandy), Ronald (Donna), Victoria (Bob), and Edward (Judy).

She welcomed ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Thelma was a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital and the Veterans Administration until her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother and the best grandmother who was always up for an outing. She loved Fall, Christmas, reading, and most of all returning to visit her hometown of Covington, where she would visit her brothers, Harold Hostetter and the late Arnold Hostetter, Jr. and sisters, Darlene Thompson and Becky Redman.

A heartfelt thank you to her sister, Becky Redman, for helping care for her the last few years of her life.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2019 at McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bill Gilliland and Rev. Jim Moss officiating.

Interment will be held on October 28, 2019 at Alleghany Memorial Park.
