Nancy Bryant Allen, 75, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 and entered the heavenly presence of God and acquired a body void of earthly elements.

She was born June 23, 1944 in Montebello, the daughter of the late Dave and Kathleen Bryant.

Nancy worked at Modine for over 40 years. She was a member of Irish Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church, serving in the choir and as a church secretary and treasurer.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Reginald, Lemuel and Jerry David Bryant.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Lewis Allen; son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Tricia Allen of Forest; granddaughters, Eden and Caroline Allen of Forest; sisters, Rita Grant and Shirley Fitzgerald of Buena Vista; brother, Gary Bryant of Waynesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thank you God for giving us a loving and genuine daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, ma, and friend. Praise God for dedicated caregivers who lovingly cared for Nancy and Lewis, specifically Robin, Brenda, Nancy and Sharon for anchoring the Allen home most recent and for Elizabeth Kosmas, NP at Rockbridge Medical Group, for serving her patients with heart.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 24 at Irish Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Wayne Dickson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23 at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
