Wanda Rena Godfrey, age 45, of 204 Roxbury Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Monday, October 28, 2019 at LewisGale Hospital – Alleghany, Low Moor.

She was born July 30, 1974 in Clifton Forge to the late Robert Eugene and Lorraine Lewis Godfrey.

She was a member of Jackson Memorial Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Edna Moss; paternal grandparents, Asberry and Bernice Godfrey; uncle, Elder DeLawrence Godfrey; and aunts, Virginia Sandidge and Pearlie Sandidge.

She is survived by two sisters, Rebecca Godfrey of Clifton Forge and Denise Hunter of Clifton Forge; two aunts, Kathleen Robinson and husband, Lloyd of Clifton Forge, and Myra Godfrey of Iron Gate; three uncles, Steve Godfrey of Iron Gate, Bruce Godfrey of Clifton Forge, and Arthur Godfrey of Clifton Forge; one niece, Daneesha D. Hunter; two nephews, Micah A. Godfrey and Morrison Godfrey, and a host of cousins., A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with Elder Leon Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
