Obituary for Judith (Kay) Morgan Judith (Kay) Morgan
Ronceverte Native Dies At Age 73

Judith (Kay) Morgan, age 73, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 12, 2019 after a brave battle with cancer.

Kay is loved by many family and friends who knew her as Sister Kate, Sweetie Deedie, Nanny, Grandma Kay, Mom and friend.

She was born in Ronceverte, WV on January 9, 1946 to the late Floyd & Lillian Morgan.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Jack and Darrell.

Dedication to her family, seeing children smile and making people laugh were her joys. She enjoyed camping, beaches, country and gospel music and attending church.

One of Kay’'s favorite phrases was "Precious Memories" and she has left plenty of those behind to be cherished by her family and friends; husband, Sid Morgan of Gastonia; son, Keith Pence and daughter, Pam Wilson, both of Charlotte; five grandchildren: Trai Corte, Keanu Pence, Melena Pence and Calysta Pence, all of Virginia Beach and Josh Wilson of Charlotte.

There will be two services for Kay: Saturday, 12:00 p.m., November 16, 2019 at Macedonia Apostles & Prophets Ministries in Gastonia, NC. Family and friends will be received at the church from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Kay's final resting place will be at her home church, Greenbrier Baptist Church in Ronceverte, WV, Sunday, November 17th at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor DeWitt Youngblood, Jr. officiating both services. Family and friends will be received at the church from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.

In honor of Kay the family has requested to wear one of her favorite colors: coral, turquoise or yellow.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
