Ronceverte Native Was World War II Veteran

James Keith (Jim) Reynolds, 92, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, just one week shy of his birthday at the Peyton Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family following a short illness.

Born November 20, 1926 in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of the late Enos Frazier and Lelia Blanche Sherwood Reynolds.

Jim retired from Architectural Wood in Ronceverte, WV as a finisher.

He was a U. S. Army World War II veteran, where he served in the Philippines at Corregidor. He was a member of the Frankford United Methodist Church, was a life member of the Rainelle VFW Post 4484 and the United Steel Workers of America.

His work and activities in his church were very precious to him. He was a very generous man and was willing to help anyone in need.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, four sisters, son-in-law, Donald Wright and a great grandson, Gage Wright.

Survivors include his loving wife of seventy-two years, Wilma June Brown Reynolds, son, James Keith Reynolds Jr. (LaDonna) of Lewisburg, WV; daughters, Reita Kay Beebe (Charles) of Clarksville, TN, Linda Faye Wright of Granton, WI and Lelia Mae Reynolds (Dennis Wegman) of Montrose, WV; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military rites will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Peter Scott officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations of sympathy be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901 or to the Rainelle VFW Post 4484, 401 Main Street, Rainelle, WV 25962.
