Obituary for Bobby Gene Snedegar Bobby Gene Snedegar
White Sulphur Springs Resident Was Known As "Bobby Gene The Dancing Machine"

Bobby Gene Snedegar, (known by many as Bobby Gene the Dancing Machine) of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Friday, November 15, 2019 at the White Sulphur Springs Center. He was 79 years old.

Born May 17, 1940 in Esty, WV, he was the son of the late John Edgar and Bertha Irene Ayers Snedegar.

Bobby was of Baptist faith, and was an avid dancer. He also worked as a self-employed auto-body mechanic.

Survivors include his first wife, Martha Snedegar; second wife, Ginger Lyall; longtime companion, Lena Mae Keaveney; daughters, Kimberly Snedegar (Shawn Wilson), and Jennifer Snedegar (Bernard Mines); sons, Tommy Snedegar (Martha), and Ronnie Snedegar (Debra); sisters, Margie Stidom, Madeline Yates, and Gladys Corona; brother, Edgar Snedegar; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Lewis Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Morningside Cemetery in Renick.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made in Bobby's memory to the Ronceverte Music Hall, c/o Rusty Arnold, 212 Monroe Avenue, Ronceverte, WV 24970.

A covered dish reception will be held at the Renick Fire House following the service on Monday.
