Obituary for Thomas Laird Dudley Thomas Laird Dudley
U. S. Army Veteran Was Longtime Burlington Industries IT Employee

Thomas Laird Dudley, 83, of Lexington, Virginia was called home Friday, November 15, 2019.

Born November 15, 1936 in Rockbridge Baths, he was a son of the late William Lindsay Dudley and Phoebe E. Hall Dudley.

Thomas was a member of the St. Johns United Methodist Church and served two and a half years in the U. S. Army.

He retired from the Burlington Industries IT Department with 28 years of service.

Surviving are his wife, Dina A. Dudley; children, Denise Cornwell, Damon Dudley (Laura), Brenda Floyd (Mike), Denny Worth (Sandy), Robert Cantanio (Cheryl), and Dina Marie Arrington (Billy); brother, Lewis C. Dudley; sister, Doris Hanger; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Perez.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 18 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Louis Caddell officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. United Methodist, 351 E. 21st St., Buena Vista, VA 24416 or Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
