Sandra Bryant Smith, 49, of Buena Vista, Virginia went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

Born January 25, 1970 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Dorothy Johnson Bryant and the late Earl Thomas Bryant.

Sandy was a member of Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and praise and worship singer. She loved camping and going to the beach. Her family meant the world to her, and nothing made her happier than a good joke. Her laugh was contagious.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Lynn "Tony" Smith; stepdaughters, Kristi Driscoll (Patrick), Carrie Lineberry (Dennis Jr.), Kasey Lineberry (David), Caitlin Smith, with a combined nine grandchildren, all of Buena Vista. Also surviving are siblings, Kathy Wallace (Tim), Stephen Bryant (Kimberly), Dreama Wallace (Bruce), Keith Bryant (Sue), Donna Beck, Joyce Zimbro (Tommy), Douglas Bryant (Frances), Sherry Riley (Benny), and a sister-in-law, Karen Flint (Jimmy); and countless nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 9 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. George H. Close Jr. officiating.

Friends may gather with the family from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, December 8 at Harrison Funeral Home.
