Obituary for Phyllis Jean Ratliff Phyllis Jean Ratliff
Hinton Native Was Fairlea Resident, MTA Bus Driver

Phyllis Jean Ratliff, 71, of Fairlea, West Virginia passed away Monday, December 17, 2019 at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, VA.

Phyllis was born September 13, 1948 in Hinton to the late Charles Edward Ratliff II and Mildred Irene Smith Ratliff.

Phyllis was a bowling instructor for many years, she worked at the Citgo Gas Station in Fairlea for 10 years and drove the MTA bus for 14 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Charlotte Callison; and her brother, Roger Ratliff, who passed November of 2017 and will be buried with her.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Wager and wife, Leasa of Blackshear, GA, Travis B. Wagner of Lewisburg, Timothy Wager and wife, Jessica of Lewisburg, Todd D. Wagner and wife, Lee of Lewisburg; her brothers, Glenville Ratliff of Ronceverte, Charles Edward Ratliff and wife, Gerri of Marine City, MI; sister-in-law, Karen Bragg of Charleston; and brother-in-law, Lynn Callison of Rainelle; her grandchildren, Brittany Kinsey, Kambria Wagner, Kassey Wagner, Kaleb Wagner, Khloe Wagner, Kaylynn Wagner, Kaylee Wagner, Ariaunna Wagner, Arminda Wagner, Todd Wagner, Chance Wagner, and Levi Wagner; step-granddaughter, Aira Rudd.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg, with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow at DeQuasie Cemetery in Meadow Bridge.
