3. Proposed FY 2022-2023 Operating and capital Budgets
• An Ordinance Imposing and Levying Taxes Within The Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia Upon Real Property For The Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2022 and Ending June 30, 2023, and Upon Personal Property and Machinery and Tools For the Calendar Year Beginning January 1, 2022, and Ending December 31, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION: Waive second reading and adopt
• An ordinance to amend Section 86-95, Water Services charges and Fees beginning July 1, 2022.
RECOMMENDATION: Waive second reading and adopt
• An Ordinance to amend Section 86-556, Wastewater Services Charges and Fees beginning July 1, 2022

Clifton Forge Town Hall will be closed on Monday, Monday June 20, 2022 in honor of the Juneteenth Holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the U.S.
Clifton Forge Town hall will be closed Monday, July 4, 2022 in observance of the 4th of July holiday.
- UPCOMING EVENTS
Holiday Events
Juneteenth – An opening ceremony will be held at the Amphitheater on Monday June 20th at 11:00 am followed by an afternoon of Food, Fun & Celebration at Washington Park.
Stars & Stripes – Sunday, July 3, 2022 the grounds at the Heritage Center will open to the public at 6 pm with fire works taking place at dusk.
Independence Day – Monday July 4th will begin with a parade at 11:00 am followed by the service of recognition at the Masonic Theatre
