Maryland Man Arrested Here: He Planned On Getting An Underage "Daughter-Wife"
Albert C. Forand Now In Jail Without Bond |

Covington, VA (May 22, 2024) - On May 18, 2024, Albert C. Forand, age 57, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, was arrested and charged with Code of Virginia 18.2-374.3, Use of Communication Systems to Facilitate Certain Offenses Against Minors (Child Solicitation).
Forand traveled to Covington, Virginia with the intention of meeting a minor under the age of 15 and had planned on taking the minor back to Maryland to become a “Daughter-Wife”.
When Forand arrived in Covington he was taken into custody by the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Covington Division of Police, Bath County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, and the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources.
Albert C. Forand is currently being held at the Alleghany Regional Jail without bond.
