Mid City Music Festival: Music For All!

| Covington, VA (June 6, 2024) - The Mid-City Music Festival will be taking place in Covington, Va this weekend on Friday, June 7 from 5-9 and Saturday, June 8 from Noon to 10 p.m.
There will be vendors selling various products and informational vendors as well. Local car enthusiasts will have their cars on display at the City Hall parking lot. There will be bouncies set up for the children and there will be food and beverages for purchase from The Friendly Fork, Shriners, Puff's, Hometown Icees, Nowhere Brewing and Olde Town Covington.
The entertainment will kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday with local dancers from A1 studios followed by Garlynda's Fancy Feet at 6 p.m.
At 7 p.m. Nashville recording artist from Lexington, Va, Mr. Will Reid will be taking the stage. He gained his love for music at an early age listening and singing along with his dad's Bluegrass band. His music will reflect his love of strong lyrics and themes from the 90s era and a new age style.
On Saturday the festival continues with Greenbrier County native Bryce George performing his Appalachian music at noon. Following him at 2 p.m. will be all the way from Charleston, WV, country touring artist Josh Pantry. Josh is an active songwriter in the music scene in Nashville. At about 4 p.m. the talented Clifton Forge native Caleb Carpenter and band will be performing for the audience. Caleb has roughly 15 years experience performing and writing music.
Up next from Richmond is the funk band, Mobius Strip. They will be sure to provide the crowd with an energetic performance. At 6:30 p.m. local Nashville recording artist Chad Nickell and The Loose Change will continue to provide the crowd with a energetic performance of eclectic musical style.
Then at 8:30 the Nashville recording artist/songwriter, Ray Fulcher will take the stage. He has written songs for such artists as Luke Combs. He is an up-and-rising star in the country music scene.
