To consider Ordinance O-24-04 Imposing and Levying Real Estate and Public Service Taxes within the City of Covington for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025. To consider Ordinance O-24-05 Imposing and Levying Personal Property and Machinery and Tools Taxes for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025. • APPOINTMENTS Roanoke Valley Alleghany Regional Commission - to fill Tom Sibold’s term expiring on June 30, 2024. E-mail from RVARC notifies that Mr. Sibold is eligible for reappointment. This is a 3-year term. Mountain Gateway Community College-to fill Tammy Scruggs-Duncan’s term expiring on June 30, 2024. Mrs. Scruggs-Duncan is not eligible for re-appointment. This is a 4-year term. Alleghany Highlands Regional Library-to fill Tom Long’s term expiring on June 30, 2024.
