Alleghany Highlands School Board Personnel Actions (6_10_24)   Low Moor, VA (June 11, 2024) - At the conclusion of closed session on Monday, June 10, 2024 the School Board took the following personnel action: The School Board approved the appointments of Brianna T. Johnson as Library/Media Specialist and Beverly J. Hodgdon as School Nurse/RN, both at Alleghany High School. Also approved was Michael J. Gardiner as CTE/Electricity Instructor at Jackson River Technical Center. The school board also approved Kristen B. Garten as Paraprofessional and Lauren E. Mabry as Teacher, both at Callaghan Elementary School. Abigail G. Padgett and Jessica L. Freeman were both approved as Paraprofessional/SPED, both at Mountain View Elementary School. Also approved was Kayden F. Davis as Paraprofessional/SPED, Derek R. Hanna as Paraprofessional, Stephanie C. Stevens as Special Education Teacher, Joshua A. Saville as Teacher, Tabitha N. Hinkle as Part-Time Food Services Workers, and Jackleen F. Butler as School Secretary/Bookkeeper, all at Jeter-Watson Elementary School. The School Board accepted the resignations of Jennifer A. Hannah, Special Education Teacher at Mountain View Elementary School, Eric D. Tyree; Director of Maintenance and Transportation, and Vincent L. Wyatt, Assistant Activities Director at Covington Middle School. The School Board accepted the retirement of Deborah M. Michie, Bus Driver.
