Alleghany Highlands Public School Personnel Actions (9_16_24)   Low Moor, VA (Sept 17, 2024) - At the conclusion of closed session on Monday, September 16, 2024 the School Board took the following personnel action: The School Board approved the appointments of Teresa C. Persinger as Supervisor of Finance. Shelby L. Kimberlin, Amanda M. Clemmons, and Sara N. Armstrong as Full Time Bus Drivers. Also approved was Justin M. Whittington as Paraprofessional/SPED at Alleghany High School. The School Board also approved Antonia V. Valencia as Paraprofessional/SPED, Tammie L. Vaughan as Part Time Special Education Teacher, and Gina A. Jones as Head Custodian, all at Jeter-Watson Elementary School. Sarah A. Dimaano was approved as School Nurse and Lisa B. Morris as Part Time Food Services Worker, both at Mountain View Elementary School. Also approved was Scott A. Paitsel as Custodian/Floater at the Bus Garage. In Extra-Curricular activities the School Board approved Nolan E. Caldwell as Fall Weight Room Coach at Alleghany High School. The School Board accepted the resignations of Deborah C. Jeffries, Part Time Food Services Worker at Sharon Elementary School, effective August 23, 2024; Emely L. Casadevall, Paraprofessional/SPED at Jeter-Watson Elementary School effective September 12, 2024, and Lakeisha N. Allen; Part Time Food Services Worker at Mountain View Elementary School effective September 6, 2024.
