AHPS Holiday Music and Programs Ready to Spread Cheer   Low Moor, VA (Nov. 10, 2025) - Alleghany Highlands Public Schools will ring in the holiday season with a series of festive programs showcasing student talent from late November through December. “Our students and staff are working hard to prepare these performances,” said Kim Halterman and Melinda Snead-Johnson, leaders of AHPS. “They’re a wonderful way for families and the community to come together and celebrate the season.” Performance Schedule - Sharon Elementary Program: Nov. 20, 5:30 p.m. - Callaghan Elementary Program: Dec. 2, 5:30 p.m. - Jeter-Watson Elementary Program (EC-2nd grade): Dec. 8, 5:30 p.m. - Covington Middle School Band Concert: Dec. 9, 6:00 p.m. - Alleghany High School Choir: Dec. 11, 6:00 p.m. - AHS Band Concert: Dec. 16, 6:00 p.m. - CMS Choir Concert: Dec. 18, 6:00 p.m. - Mountain View Elementary Program: Dec. 18, 6:00 p.m. All events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as available seating may be limited and vary by school.
