VSP Investigating Fatal Crash In Alleghany County Pamela Clark Hall Of Millboro Dies After Wreck On Rte. 42   Alleghany County, VA (July 6, 2026) - Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Saturday (July 4) at 1:54 p.m. on Route 42, one mile south of Nicely Town Road in Alleghany County. A 2002 Chevrolet S-10 was traveling on Route 42, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected crossing the roadway and overturned. The 68-year-old driver was identified as Pamela Clark Hall, of Millboro, Va. Ms. Hall was wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
