Dr. Harry Paul Kornhiser, Jr., 87, of Covington, Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home.

Dr. Kornhiser was born December 10, 1935 at Franklin, NJ to the late Harry Paul Kornhiser, Sr and late Virgie Kornhiser.

Dr. Kornhiser was a Doctor of Osteopathy, having graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and University of Miami. He was also an Army veteran.

Other than his parents, Dr. Kornhiser was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Ann Donovan and Betty Jo Pare; brother, Richard Kornhiser.

Surviving include his wife of over 59 years, Joan Cragg Kornhiser; daughters, Dr. Belinda Kornhiser Smith and Laura Kornhiser Israel and spouse, Ed; sons, David Craig Kornhiser and John Paul Kornhiser and spouse, Tara; grandchildren, Nicole Kay O’Neil and spouse, Kristopher, Kathryn Elizabeth Hughes and spouse, Jonathan; Heather Telane Kornhiser, Jeremy Craig Kornhiser and spouse, Shalee, Sarah Beth Kornhiser and spouse, Richie Boguess and 16 great grandchildren.

Dr Kornhiser's wishes were to be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.
