Callaghan Resident Was Ronceverte Native

Michael Wallace (Mick) Morgan, also known as (Green), age 78, of Callaghan, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020.

Born November 16, 1941 at Ronceverte, he was the son of the late Joseph Edward and Edith Marie Bennett Morgan.

Mick was a loving father and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was most happy when he was on a mountain or in the woods with his hunting buddies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Morgan and a grandson, Brandon Wilson.

He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Morgan of West Columbia, WV, Tonya Coleman (Rick Sr.) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Edith Wade of Sinks Grove, WV; sister, Joyce Morgan of Ronceverte, WV; brothers, Gary Morgan (Priscilla) of Staunton, VA, Phil Morgan of Ronceverte, WV; grandsons, Mickey Blankenship, Ricky Coleman Jr. (Tiffany) and Cole Wade; granddaughters, Audra Rue, Adrian Spitz, Jessica Vandall (Eugene), Alisha Vance (Clayton), Jordan Morgan, Abby, Hannah and Morgan Wade; great grandchildren, Zachariah and Bryce Vance, Hayden, Aubrey and Bentley Morgan, Isaiah, Alexus, Lillian, Emma and Davina Coleman, Nirvona, Mercede, Landyn, Icyss and Timber Vandall, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Greenbrier Baptist Church, Morgan Hollow Road, Ronceverte, WV with his nephew Johnathan Morgan officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.

Ricky "Hammer" Coleman, Ryan "Bign" Wilhelm, Gary "Coon Skinner" Wilhelm, David "Sheep Hearder" Shoemaker, Richard "Quick" Anderson, Mark Honaker, Erskin "Erk" Greys and David "White" Wickline will serve as pallbearers. Charlie "Farmer" McNeil, Mack "Mack" Preston and Larry "One Shot" Bartley will be honorary pallbearers.
