Charles Vaden Hurley, 76, of Buena Vista, Virginia died Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.

He was born February 19, 1943 in Roanoke, the son of Cecil L. Hurley Sr. and Annie Beard Hurley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Moore Hurley.

Surviving are his son, Charles "Chuck" H. Hurley Jr.; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Garst; and brother, Wayne Hurley.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at Collierstown Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. W. David Bain.

The family will receive friends at 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 26 at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.
