Shirley Lunsford Floyd, 75, of Lexington, Virginia died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.

Born August 10, 1944 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late James Lunsford and Artie Norcross Lunsford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Floyd, and a daughter, Sharon Martin.

Shirley was a CNA for over 25 years at Stonewall Jackson Extended Care Facility and Kendal at Lexington.

Surviving are her daughters, Susan Ryan (Andrew) of Glasgow, and Shirl Posey (James) of Georgia; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and special friend, Karen Reid.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Shenandoah Valley Activities Fund, 3737 Catalpa Ave., Buena Vista, VA 24416.
