Jim Washington Sweet, 86, of Lexington, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

Born January 16, 1934 in Lexington, he was the son of the late George W. Sweet Sr. and Carrie Emore Sweet.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise, and daughter, Sharon Kaye Davis.

Surviving are his children, Michael Sweet and wife, Cheryl, Barbara Moore and husband, Rodell, and Norma Robinson and husband, Willard; and sisters, Bonnie Harding and Virginia Sweet.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
