Romalda (Mellie) Ruth Smith, 78, of Buena Vista, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

She was born May 15, 1941 in Rockbridge County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Jones; two brothers; and three sisters.

Mellie is survived by her husband, Roy Smith; daughter, Tammy Johnson and husband, Kim; son, Randy Smith and wife, Libby; son, Todd Smith and wife, Melody; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Per the current nationwide situation, the funeral service will be immediate family only.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
