Gary Vaughn Lewis, 67, of Lexington, Virginia died Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at his home.

Born January 8, 1953, in Lexington, he was a son of Peggy Harlow Lewis and the late Harry Vaughn Lewis Jr.

Gary retired as an operator for the Maury River Service Authority.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Lewis; daughter, Laura Crowder (Zachary); brothers, Stanley Lewis and David Lewis; and two grandchildren, Liam Crowder and Asher Crowder.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's memory to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450 or the Kendal Staff Appreciation Fund, 170 Kendal Drive, Lexington, VA 24450.
