Mary C. Roberts Starrett, 84, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.

Born September 28, 1935 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Bruce Chittum and Lillian Dunn Chittum.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years, Curtis Roberts; second husband of one year, Raymond N. Starrett; son, Eddie Lee; brothers, Bill, Lewis, Earl, Buzzy, and Billy; sisters, June, Minnie, Suzie, and Charlotte.

Surviving are her children, Carolyn Johnson (Barry), Marlene McFaddin, Curtis Roberts (Tassie), Matthew Roberts (Leslie), Tony Roberts (Kim), and Ricky Roberts (Mona); 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Linda Anderson, Doris Miller, and Katherine Doyle.

A service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
