Obituary for Charles Kennith Masters Charles Kennith Masters
U. S. Army Veteran Was Wild Meadow Baptist Church Deacon

Charles Kennith Masters, 81, of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away, Monday, April 20, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born August 21, 1938 at Covington, Virginia, he was the son of the late Lee and Harriett Masters.

He was a Deacon of Wild Meadow Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during the Berlin Crisis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Scruggs.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Florence Irene Church Masters; brothers, Arden Masters of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Marvin Masters of Charleston, WV; son, Charles Masters II and wife, Patricia; daughter, Tornelia Masters of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren, Blair Garretson and husband, Dean of Maryland Charles Masters III and Aubrianna; great-grandchildren Amelia, Adriana, and Luke.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2020 at Whatcoat United Methodist Church cemetery. Pastor Roger "Wahoo" McDaniel is officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of sympathy be made to Wild Meadow Baptist Church.
