Obituary for Gloria Pearl Cooke Gloria Pearl Cooke
Former Kellwood Plant Employee Was Ronceverte Resident

Gloria Pearl Cooke, 81, of Ronceverte, West Virginia, formerly of Jessup, MD, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 29, 2020 at her daughter's home in Organ Cave with all her family by her side.

Mrs. Cooke was born September 18, 1938 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late George and Pearl Eichelberger LeBon.

She was of the Pentecostal faith, had worked at the Kellwood Plant and was a homemaker.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Yvonne "Betty" Moore and Camille LeBon.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph A. Cooke, Jr.; daughters, Angela Dickson of Greenville, WV, Maureen Lucas of Organ Cave, WV., Sharon Brown of Jessup, MD., and Debra Kirby of Ballard, WV.; sons, Brady Ellis, Jr. of Moncove Lake, WV., Shawn Ellis of Irwin, PA., and Joseph Cooke of Jessup, MD.; brother, John LeBon of Florida; longtime friend for over 60 years, Boo Bowden of Ronceverte; 19 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gloria will be on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Shawn Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Church Cemetery in Organ Cave.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday May 31, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Due to Covid-19 we will be observing requirements as set out by the Health Department. (Social distancing)

Pallbearers will be Matthew Ellis, Joseph Cooke, Danny Martin Jr., Matthew Ellis Jr., Elijah Loudermilk and Randy Atwell.

The Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
