Mary Thompson Hite, 80, of Buena Vista, Virginia gained her wings Wednesday, June 3, 2020.

Born March 5, 1940 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Jefferson Thompson and Lilly Bertha McDaniel Thompson.

Surviving are two sons, Edward Wayne Tomlin and husband, Gary Goldsmith, and Jeff Hite and wife, Amanda; and three sisters, Betty Flint, Peggy Dudley and Melba Tomlin.

A private funeral service will be held Friday, June 5 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
