Lillian Hayes Wright, 90, of Lexington, Virginia passed away July 2, 2020 at her daughter's home in Havre De Grace, Md.

Born November 7, 1929 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Winder S. Hayes and Maggie Sorrells Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William (Willie) Balis Wright; three sons, Ricky Wright, Gary Wright and infant son; one grandson, three sisters, and four brothers.

Mrs. Wright was a member of the Bible Church of Rockbridge and retired from Burlington Industries.

Lillian loved her family and friends. Also she enjoyed cooking, her many flowers and the birds that she fed. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her children, Bonnie Cooper and Carl Harris, Joey and Pam Hollis, Sherry and Teddy Weber, David and Julie Wright, Mark Wright, and Lisa and Norman Black; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandson; and two sisters.

A private graveside service will be at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. George Warden officiating.
