Obituary for Camilla I. (Kirk) Grimmett Camilla I. (Kirk) Grimmett
Lewisburg Resident Dies At Age 84

Camilla I. (Kirk) Grimmett of Lewisburg, West Virginia, the loving mother of Rita Altizer and husband, Youel, both of Lewisburg, Robert (Bubby) Grimmett and wife, Gina of Rainelle, Barry Grimmett and wife, Terri of White Sulphur Springs, David Grimmett of Princeton, Sue Surgeon and husband, Jack of Alderson, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born August 31, 1935 in Ashford, WV.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Grimmett in 1993; her parents, Charlie and Goldie Kirk of Ashford, WV; her sisters, Betty Hoover, Loretta Ball, Chrissy Titus, Brenda Hall, and brothers, Charles and Michael Kirk.

Surviving are sisters, Martha Webb and Margaret Callaghan.

Camilla is survived by her five children and 12 grandchildren: Kevin Altizer, Shawn Altizer, Ryan Grimmett, B. J. Grimmett, Stephany Worley, Brittany Radford, Chandra Johnson, Stanley Grimmett, Abby Bales, Crystal Staten, Chad McCoy, and Shane McCoy.

She also had 32 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Hannah, and Brason Altizer, Logan, Landon, Laci, and Laurel Altizer, Amelia, Grant, Baron, and Liam Grimmett, Charlee and Cash Worley, Kendal, Kadence, and Paxton Radford, Hanna and Boyce Estes, Faith Griffith, Jordan Grimmett, Brianna Bowman, Maddie, Lydia and Emily Bales, Dakota, Noah, and Savannah Staten, Chase and Avery McCoy and Gage, Lakin and Kaylee McCoy; great-great grandchildren, Bayleigh and Braxton Bowman, Finlee Paige due in October.

Private graveside services will be held at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, officiated by Pastor Youell Altizer, Pastor Kevin Altizer, and Speaker B.J. Grimmett.
