Ronald Owen Hall, 84, of Lexington, Virginia died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home.

Born April 25, 1936 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Joshua Wilson Hall and Louise Coleman Deacon Hall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Thelma Fix Hall; brother, Burtney Hall; and sister-in-law, Elsie Hall.

He was a member of the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and retired from Maury River Oil Company.

Surviving are his children, Sharon H. Newell (Gary), Sheila H. Blevins (Eddie), Russell O. Hall (Hazel), and Michael D. Hall; sister, Ella Belle Clark (Roy); brothers, Nelson Hall (Gatha), and Oscar Hall; sister-in-law, Ethel Hall; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and special friends Loretta and Kenneth Moore and Jean Blevins.

A graveside service will be held 3 pm. Friday, July 17 at Oxford Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Bearden officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
