On Thursday, July 23, James Preston Fitzgerald, husband, father, and son, made his heavenly home at the age of 39 years.

Jamie is survived by his wife of 14 years, Tabitha; his children, Alex, Isaac, and Christian; and his mother, Sandra Nadine Fitzgerald.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Nadine, and his father, James B. Fitzgerald.

Jamie was born on April 25, 1981 in Lexington, Virginia.

Jamie was employed by Everbrite LLC and was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship COGOP.

Jamie touched the lives of so many while here on earth and he will be deeply missed by his in-laws, Bryan and Sheila Pooley; nephews, Gage, Chase, Bentley, Jordan, Marshall, Mason, Barrett and Coy; nieces Chasity, Allison, Madilynn and Alayna; brother and sister-in-law, Nathan and Sharon; sister-in-law and companion Courtney Pooley and Justin Hartless and extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the New Life Fellowship from 2 to 4 p.m. and a celebration of life will immediately follow for immediate family with Pastor Ray Burton officiating the service. Masks and social distancing mandates must be followed.
