Obituary for June Virginia Terry June Virginia Terry
Former Ritsch's Cleaners Employee Was Covington Native

Mrs. June Virginia Terry, age 94, of Covington, Virginia died Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her residence.

She was the wife of the late George Mason Terry.

Mrs. Terry was born June 5, 1926 in Covington, the daughter of the late Robert Ryan Crowder and Constance Mann Crowder.

She was employed as a presser by the former Ritsch's Cleaners before her retirement.

June attended First Christian Church as well as Falling Spring Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and making kites out of newspapers and sticks with the neighborhood children. Also, Mrs. Terry enjoyed bluegrass music, dancing, taking violin lessons, swimming and especially loved to cook and feed everyone. June was a very caring person who loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Terry is survived by two daughters, Carol Flenner Dunaway and companion, Timmy Clifton of Covington and Dreama Flenner King of Covington; a son, Ricky Dale Flenner and wife, Geneva of Roanoke; nine grandchildren, Keith Dunaway and wife, Tina, Patrick Dunaway, Angell Dunaway, Teresa Peck Wilson and husband, Tommy, Crystal Peck, Dimitri Flenner, Brian Davis, Randal Davis and Alquita Davis; seven great grandchildren, Maria Wilson and husband, Nathan, Hannah Bailey and husband, Jeremy, Michael Dunaway, Dillon Dunaway, Ariel Dunaway , Jessica Human and husband, Troy and Penelope Flenner; eight great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by a brother, Parker Mann Paxton and an infant sister, Mildred Rubino Paxton.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2020 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Matlack officiating. Interment will follow in Falling Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
