George Edward Boyd, 59, of Iron Gate, Virginia passed away Friday, November 20, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hollie Boyd, Sr. and Sada Alvis Harlow Boyd; his grandparents, John Riley Boyd, Della Boyd Poague, William (Bill) Poague, Charles T. Harlow and Pearl May Harlow.

Survivors include one sister, Brenda Boyd Childs (Donald) of Clifton Forge; brothers, William H. Boyd Jr. (Kathy) of Troutville; David Boyd of Clifton Forge; Harrison Boyd (Carolyn) of Buchanan; and Leroy Boyd (Bertie) of Iron Gate, VA; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a devoted friend, Charlie Morrison.

Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Botetourt Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
