Winifred Conner (Winnie) Donald, 89, of Lexington, Virginia, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home.

Born January 30, 1931 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar George Conner and Mary Fix Conner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Moore Donald.

Winnie was a member of the Faith Mountain Baptist Church and secretary for Donald's Electric.

Surviving are five sons, Steven W. Donald and Carolyn Palmer, Billy M. Donald III and Mary Linda, Timothy B. Donald and Judith, Patrick S. Donald and Karen, all of Lexington, and Richard A. Donald of North Carolina; one daughter, Rita Donald Mason and husband, James; siblings; Sam Conner, Roy Conner, Phyllis Dudley, Shirley Frazier and Emily Baska; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 4 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor William Thomas officiating. Social distancing and mask will be required.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Legacy Hospice, 1312 Plantation Road NE, Roanoke, VA 24012 or Faith Mountain Baptist Church, 270 Valley Pike, Lexington, VA 24450.
